The Altrusa Club of Green Bay was
founded in 1930 and received its national charter in 1934 under the
leadership of Euphemia Kay. In 2009 we celebrated 75 years of
serving the greater Green Bay community. We are part of an
international network of executives and professionals dedicated to
improving our communities through personal service.
CURRENT PROJECTS OF THE
ALTRUSA CLUB OF GREEN BAY:
ALTRUSA HOUSE: Located at 1116 E. Mason St. in Green Bay, the
Altrusa House was built in 2001 and serves as a home away from home
for people seeking medical treatment in this regional medical hub
and also serves those who need to be with loved ones during their
stay at local hospitals.
In addition to the Altrusa House, volunteer service and financial
support have been given to many community projects including:

• Tank School
• Salvation Army
• Habitat for Humanity |
• Literacy Council of Green Bay
• NEW Curative Rehabilitation Center
• Vocational and College Scholarships |
The Altrusa Club of Green Bay is a not-for-profit organization under
code section 501(C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service.
Contributions to the foundation are tax deductible.
